SHIPPING POLICY

FURNITURE

Newport Cottages uses special furniture delivery carriers that are experts in handling these larger items with care.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery time after your order has left our factory. This is in addition to the stated shipping time for the specified product.

Standard Delivery

Unless previously arranged all cribs, nightstands, guardrails and changing trays will be shipped via standard ground shipping (UPS/FedEx/Freight Delivery). Standard ground packages will be delivered to your curbside or doorstep and will not be placed inside your home or assembled.

Premier White Glove Delivery

This delivery option includes an in-home service where our shippers will unpack, place your furniture in the room of your choice, and discard all packing materials for you. Assembly service is not provided.

Deliveries are made by appointment. The delivery company will call you to schedule a day and time for your delivery once it arrives to your local area. These deliveries are typically scheduled Monday through Saturday during normal business hours. Please note that deliveries are arranged and made by independent shipping companies, and Newport Cottages cannot be held responsible for any changes in delivery times, dates, delays, damages or any other shipping issues.

Receiving your Delivery

Once you have been contacted by the furniture delivery company, it is important to keep the appointment. Failure to keep the appointment, may result in additional redelivery charges. It is important to be present at the delivery of your furniture to inspect and sign for your delivery. Please read the following recommendations in order to ensure the best possible delivery experience.

Premier White Glove Delivery

After your items have been brought into the room of your choice, please thoroughly inspect your furniture for any damages, missing parts, or any other issues. After inspecting your order, please note any issues on the freight bill. Please know that if you sign for your delivery without noting any damages or missing parts, we may not be able to assist you in the repair, replacement, or return of your furniture. If possible, contact our customer service department while the delivery company is still there so we may be able to find the best solution possible. Please report any issues to our customer service department within 3 days of receiving your delivery.
