If you didn’t have a bunk bed as a kid, didn’t you wish you had one? Every kid loves bunk beds. It is generally recommended that a child should be at least 6 years old before he or she sleeps in a bunk bed. Your child should be able to climb in and out easily on his or her own. Our bunk beds can be set up as a pair of twin beds until your child is ready. Don’t set them up if there are younger siblings not allowed on them. It’s just mean and they’ll find a way up there anyway. Newport Cottages bunk beds can accommodate a trundle, maximizing sleeping space. Our bunks also allow enough space for an average height adult to sit on the bottom bunk with their child—great for story time!
